DEXIS Digital X-ray

DEXIS Digital X-ray now introduced in to the Prairie Dental Arts.

Digital Radiography is said to be the most exciting new technology introduced into dentistry in years. Digital X-rays provide patients with:

  • Reduced Radiation
  • More Comfortable X-rays
  • Instant Image
  • Enhanced diagnosis
  • Improved education on their personal situation
Dexis Digital X-Rays

Dental patients across the country and are around the world are pleased their dentists have switched to digital X-rays. They know that they are receiving less radiation exposure, making X-rays safer than ever before.

The taking of X-rays has never been more comfortable. Dentists and patients agree that the DEXIS sensor with its rounded corners is far more comfortable than regular film.

Patients will experience less time in appointments because the results are seen instantly. There is no time waiting on films to be developed. No additional time needed to see if they are “good” X-rays. If needed, an image can be taken again right away.

The clarity and enhancements of the digital X-ray provide better diagnostics. This allows patients to be assured their dentist can now see potential problem areas earlier.

The ability for patients to immediately see their own X-rays on a computer screen, instead of a small piece of film, allows the dentist to better educate patients about their particular case. It is now easier for patients to understand treatment plans and participate in the direction of their care.

All of these factors make for a more positive dental experience.
